SpecWhite^® KA is produced by fermentation of yeast and glucose.It is a kind of organic acid with antibacterial effect, soluble in water and ethanol, sensitive to light and heat. Kojic acid is mainly used for whitening cosmetics, for freckles, age spots and pigmentation. Compared with other whitening active agents, kojic acid can better inhibit tyrosinase activity and reduce melanin production.
