Glabridin can effectively inhibit the activity of tyrosinase and dopagin tautomatase during the production of melanin, so as to play a fast, efficient and safe whitening and feck-removing effect. It has the similar ability of scavenging oxygen free radicals with SOD, so it also has the highly effective antioxidant effect. Because of the efficacy and safety of glabridin, SpecWhite^® G40 is used for whitening, anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation in skin care products.
